Overall, decent condition.
This bayonet has a very interesting piece of "trench art" on the grip. It appears to be a 5-leaf cherry blossom that was used on Japanese-issued equipment (such as the type-19 kyu gunto sword).
From the research I did, it does look like Germany sent a number of captured VZ-24 rifles to Japan during the war, and the Japanese issued them to the IJN.
I'm by no means an expert in this very niche topic, so I leave it to the buyer's discretion.
